Either if we call them bruschetti or bruschetta, it’s clear we are referring to slices of toasted bread, covered with a mixture of tomatoes, garlic, parsley and extra virgin olive oil. Right? Of course, the Pope in Rome won’t excommunicate you (I hope) of you make them differently, but that’s the classic definition. I tried to combine them with the also classic but certainly Oriental za’atar. The results were not only the photos below, but also a few delicious fusion bruschetta, just right to tame your hunger when you don’t have time to cook.
