Bless your heart! Your health, generally :). Today I don’t have a food recipe for you, but a simple presentation of an all natural vitamin supplement, and I dare say, a pretty healthy one. I made this for my lady who is in a point in her life when she needs more vitamins and nutrients than usual. This kind of beverage (this is what I present to you today) can be a good ally in winter days. Of course, anything that is too much can be harmful, so, although you might be tempted to drink this every day, perhaps it would be a good idea to mind the quantities. Here goes:
I prepared the fruit: two apples (eventually, I used just one, they were too big), a grapefruit, an orange, a clementine and a banana.
I peeled the citrus fruit and the banana, I washed the apple and cut it into quarters. I put the fruit in the bowl of the blender (Vitamix is a joy, I can’t get over it :)).
I added two tablespoons of brown sugar (the seeds of a vanilla pod would have worked like a charm) and 300 milliliters of cold water.
All in all, in the bowl with a capacity of two liters I had 300 milliliters of water and approximately 500 grams of fruit.
I pushed the button. 20 seconds were enough.
As I left, I got some ideas which I will put into practice pretty soon. You’ll find out about them.
Was it good? Yes, good.
What wasn’t consumed right away was stored in the fridge until the second part of the day.
Stay healthy!
