I started rather late the trip throughout Romania, searching for awesome traditional recipes to include in my culinary app, Taste of Romania. The Universe has its own plans and, just between you and me, leaving late isn’t such a bad thing. Of course, it’s possible that the vine harvesting catch us on the road, but this is just another good thing that can happen to us.
So far, we covered the center and the northern part of Transylvania. Next, we should be heading towards Moldova and Bucovina, as soon as time will allow us to do so. Anyway, we’ve already gathered enough substantial material (hundreds of photos and tens of hours of filming which requires editing), we have something to work with until we’ll get back on the road. Today is the last day of filming of this stage. Some hard days and nights will be following, in the editing room or in front of the computer, writing impressions, deciphering notes taken hastily and with all sorts of abbreviations. I will leave you in the company of some photos from the trip:
Closing with a few explanatory lines (I hope) about the app:
Taste of Romania is my first culinary app, created with Vodafone as part of the Firsts program. The app is being worked on not only from a technical viewpoint, but also from the point of view of the content. It will have both an Android and an iOS version (this is all I know so far) and it will be at least bilingual. It will feature text, photo and video, and also it will have an interactive component, a section in which users will be able to upload content. It will be an app which will promote Romania and Romanian cuisine without promoting restaurants, bars, hotels. It will be available for free in all its versions. That’s it for now. We’ll talk about this again. Stay healthy.
